Essence of the Project

Main idea:
The project explores the idea that every person has the inner potential to become a Hero – a conscious creator of their own life narrative. This process requires recognizing one’s desires, overcoming fears, and accepting challenges to become an active architect of one's fate. It is a journey within oneself, using the mythological structure of the Hero’s Journey, which symbolizes inner transformation.

Uniqueness of the idea:
The concept is built on the metaphor of the Hero’s Journey, helping participants undergo internal changes and realize their potential. The project combines elements of a game, performance, various mindfulness & embodiment practices, and a quest with both real and virtual elements. It’s not just an entertaining experience but a tool for profound change.

Relevance:
In a world where the only constant is change, it’s crucial to learn how to be open to transformations, adapt, and see them as opportunities for growth. Many people feel disconnected from themselves and their desires – this performance helps them reconnect, expand their perspective, and see new possibilities.

Philosophical or social issues addressed:
The project touches on themes of identity crises, fear of change, stagnation, and the lack of internal direction. It’s about exploring personal value and overcoming internal barriers and fears to achieve freedom and confidence in a changing world.

Central Themes

Format

The project is presented as a multilayered experience, combining various forms: transformational game, immersive performance, quest, audiobook, audio guide, mindfulness, and embodiment practices. We call this combined format a “trip.” Participation happens via smartphone, where characters of the performance interact with participants online, sending audio messages and real-world tasks. The unique feature is the connection to physical locations on the island of Koh Phangan, enhancing the immersive effect.

Multimedia or interactive elements:
The project uses chatbot in Telegram app, audio messages, text dialogues, photos, maps, and selection buttons to make the interaction highly engaging. Participants receive tasks from characters via messenger and move through the physical locations of Koh Phangan, where key moments of the game unfold. Embodiment and mindfulness practices are integrated into the process, deepening immersion.

Participation process:
The project combines online and offline elements. Participants receive all information through a chatbot and audio via their smartphones, but to complete the main stages of the performance, they must physically move around the island of Koh Phangan, interacting with the real environment.

Duration of participation:
This is a one-time event lasting from 4 to 6 hours, depending on your pace in completing tasks and interacting with the game elements.
